I truly enjoyed staying at this hotel and would stay here again. Everything was great, magnificent location close enough to Okehampton, the centre of the village and a beautiful garden, fabulous short experience. At the restaurant, the breakfast was more than adequate with a huge spread.

The hospitality provided was excellent, with Martin ensuring every need was met effortlessly. Breakfasts were really good, with locally sourced sausages and bacon that stood out. The peaceful gardens were a perfect retreat after a busy day. With only a single night spent, the experience felt a bit too short to fully explore the surroundings.

charming decor, lovely garden view, interesting memorabilia
It's a shame the Wi-Fi connection was spotty!!! The nearby pub could have better evening hours to enhance local dining options!!! The lack of en suite facilities may not suit everyone's needs!!!
